(I could put photos behind a cut, it's true; however, in the past I've found that very few people actually click through when I do that - roughly 10%, based on hit stats I took)
The update :
Last night (Sunday, that is)
Saturday had

Tantallon is quite amazing, mostly due to its location - it is on a promontory looking out to the Firth of Forth and Bass Rock (known for its bird colonies, including 20,000-odd pairs of gannets, apparently). The huge curtain wall used to seal off the promontory, with defensive earthworks and more walls in front, and even now, the remains of the towers in the wall are around five to six stories in height. Very impressive, and I took lots of photos of it and from it - again, will post some soon.
And that was the weekend ... and I've been busily scanning in some of my medium format negatives. Oooh, sooo many pixels !
Tonight we went to the gym again - finally getting back there regularly after we had those chest infections, plus travel and general busy-ness. Finally reached the point where my arm and chest muscles aren't sore for two or three days afterwards, too, which is nice.
The vague plan at the moment is to keep going regularly and work on strength during the summer, then ease off (assuming we haven't already got lazy by then) around August (which will have WorldCon and Berlin and visiting Aussies to keep us occupied), just in time for the start of the next fencing season.
