So very, very tired today.

Yesterday, rwrylsin and I went for a little drive in the Fintry hills (north of Glasgow) with nayela, before she disappears back to Germany. After quite a drive with a few wrong turns we made it to the particular spot I wanted to see again - the Loup of Fintry, a spectacular waterfall on the River Endrick. I posted photos from it a while back (can't find the entry at the moment, though). Anyway, it was a lovely day yesterday (22 degrees, or so they say) and a wonderful setting, and we sat around and I took photos and clambered down one area near the side of the waterfall and generally had a very pleasant time. (See also rwrylsin's post about yesterday)

When we came home we ate, then were joined by the_ladylark, moose_biscuit and shebit, for some games of Munchkin (original + Unnatural Axe + Clerical Errors in one game, then the shiny new Super Munchkin for the other), which took us until some time after midnight. After giving the others a lift back to their respective hostels (just across the road from each other, as it turned out), I managed to get to bed at around 1:30am - not the best start to my first day back at work after WorldCon, when the alarm was set for 7:30am.

All in all, it was a very pleasant day in good company, and a good way to finish off the fortnight containing the WorldCon.

Tonight, it's off to the gym, then an early night, since I'm also on call for work this week. Hope it's a quiet week !
