Anyway, after another MSFC meeting last night (fairly quiet), we had a Mini-Con today, with various panels and fun, and Lisa and I once more attempting to sell many videos for things we've upgraded to DVD (our reasoning for doing this goes like this : We're planning to move to the UK next year. We have too many videos to take with us, and besides we'd be worried about damage/loss in transit. We could put them into storage, but I'm not sure 3-4 (maybe 5 ?) years of storage would be doing them any good. Plus, they take up quite a bit of space. Hence, Mass DVD Conversion. Unfortunately, we were a bit late on joining the DVD world, so it seems everyone else is getting out of video and into DVD, and haven't sold many of our videos yet (lots of Buffy, Angel, Babylon 5, Farscape, Andromeda, and various movies and things still available :-> ) ).
The hall wasn't air-conditioned, but never got uncomfortably warm during the day, fortunately. There were around 30 people attending on the day, and I think we can rate it as a success - it was a cheap, one-day "sample" Convention, with the plan being that we'll hold another one or two some time next year as well, and hopefully everyone there had fun.
After getting home, much laziness ensued - watching Futurama while eating fish and chips, and now I've been catching up on e-mail, LJs, newsgroups, and about to attack the web-comics. Wheeee ...
