|03:05 pm - Photos from Ben Lomond climb ...|
Part of the view from Ben Lomond - Loch Lomond in the near distance, Ben Lui and Ben Oss as the main peaks in the mid distance, and Ben Nevis on the horizon in the top-right corner (44 miles away ! Fantastic visibility for Scotland :-) ) :
(as always, you can click through to the scrapbook and larger versions of the photos, and I'd recommend it for these views)
A slightly wider view to the NW from Ben Lomond :
A small tarn on Ptarmigan :
Looking back up at Ben Lomond from Ptarmigan :

Those are beautiful shots. Scotland is nice, isn't it =)
That must have been spectactular.
When I was up there a couple of months ago, we battled 50mph winds and stomped through snow to get those views.
Clearly I picked the wrong day.

Those photos are brilliant and remind me of why I like that area so much. Made me smile to look at them!! :D Which is good after a six hour or thereabouts journey (whihc admittedly really could have been worse)
