Phone news ...

I have a new Shiny![tm]

It's an HTC Desire, running Android (2.1). Unlikenwhyte, it seems to do everything I want in a pocket computer/gps/camera/compass/map-file/book-reader/web-browser/games-machine/calculator/twitterer/wifi-seeeker/kitchen-sink.

... and yes, it even makes phone calls :-)

Coming up next, the saga of how I got the phone ... it got a bit complicated.
