|05:02 am - Interesting headline running around today ...|
Interesting articles in The Age , and at this place and this other place.
(and many other places, checking at news.google.com for "alien spaceship" turned these up)
Going to need a whole heap of independant verification, though.
Current Mood: curious
Current Music: random boppy stuff
Just imagine if it turns out to be true...
This one pops up once every few years, and has done for many many years :)
When someone verifiably finds either meteor fragments or something more interesting, then I'll perk up - until then it's all just speculation.
This is almost Jack Stoneley's 'Tunguska: Cauldron of Hell, a 1977 book which put the event down to an alien spaceship.
“I am fully confident and I can make an official statement that we were saved by some forces of a superior civilization,” the scientist said. “They exploded this enormous meteorite that headed towards us with enormous speed,” he said. Now this great object that caused the meteorite to explode is found at last.
Brilliant deduction, Holmes!
Yeah, I thought that line was pretty dodgy too.
Very interesting story though. Will have to attempt to keep up with any updates.
