10:32 pm - Parking in Glasgow
I've observed some rules for parking in Glasgow :

If your car fits, it's a parking space.
If your car doesn't fit, double park.
Single yellow lines, double yellow lines, and large signs saying "no parking" are often invisible.
If you don't want cars parking on a kerb, you need to put a physical barrier in their way.
Anywhere can be turned into a legitimate parking spot if you put your hazard lights on.

It's quite entertaining to watch, in its way.

Around the bottom of West Nile Street, I've seen the full range of hazard light activities:

Parking on double yellow lines;
Going down the one way street the wrong way (forwards and backwards);
Double parking on the cycle lane;
Cutting through the pedestrian precinct;
Stopping in the middle of the road just in case one of the parked cars is about to move.

Versatile things those hazards.
