Random update

Morrowind is an evil game. I reinstalled it on my computer (after my recent Windows XP upgrade), and have started playing it again. Got to bed at 3:40am-ish last night, and now feeling like a zombie.

Meanwhile, have randomly added many people to my LJ reading list (otherwise known as "friends", but that's an odd word for a varied bunch of people, some of whom I've never met). If you're one of those people, you're either there because you write interesting stuff, or there's some vague connection linking you to me , or you're a friend-of-a-friend, or I just felt like it :)

Today is Bright! and Sunny! I must take advantage of this by wandering around with a camera at lunch time.

Once upon a time, I hung around a group of people at Adelaide Uni, in a place called "The Rubble". There were card game players and role-playing gamers and sci-fi fans and jugglers and SCAers and just plain weird people there. The Rubble is no more, both because the semi-abandoned room we used was converted into a shiny meeting room, and various substitute rooms over the following few years got claimed by other groups (mostly religious ones, for some reason), and also because many of the people involved moved on.

Anyway, it seems there are similar groups in Melbourne at Melbourne Uni and Monash Uni, known as 2nd floor and Korner, respectively. I'm now trying to decide to wander along to their LJ and say Hi.
(discovered them after googling to find the surname of a friend, who had been in the recent "Men At Arms" production, and ended up at the LJ of one of the other actors in MaA. One thing led to another, and here I am :) ).
